“Wow! What a beautiful place, a gem for anyone who appreciates great architecture and landscape. Design has preserved all the colonial features such as fantastic wood carving and tiling. The quiet landscaped courtyard is a true oasis at the heart of the busy city. The hotel is also right next to the main square Thank you for the great attentive service”

“Hi my name is Lauren, the founder of the We Are Mérida community. We Are Mérida + Mérida Worldwide communities hosted our social meetup at Piedra de Agua on Friday 10 April 2026, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Piedra de Agua Hotel & Restaurant provided a beautiful setting right in the heart of Mérida—elegant, relaxed, and perfect for bringing people together. The ambiance really elevated the evening and gave our group a great place to connect. The staff was attentive, welcoming, and handled a large group with ease, which is no small feat. Food and drinks were excellent, and everything flowed smoothly throughout the night. Our community is all about creating a warm, inclusive, drama-free space, and this venue aligned perfectly with that vibe. We had a great turnout and even better energy. We’ll absolutely be back—highly recommend for both social events and a lovely night out.”

“I stayed here for a wedding the road noise is the worst feature of the hotel. I’m a deep sleeper and just about every night would awake up between 4-5am due to noise. With that said the hotel is reasonable priced and the go out of their way to make the experience enjoyable. They got a car service for me from the airport, helped my gf get a prescription filled at a pharmacy, rooms cleaned everyday, and more.”
